Beast Academy Science Grade 3

Beast Academy Science is the new elementary-school science curriculum from Art of Problem Solving. The Beast Academy Science series includes lessons, labs, comics, and games that will educate and delight young scientists ages 8-10.

Beast Academy Science 3A covers the following topics:

Motion: Predicting motion and finding patterns, gathering evidence, understanding cause and effect, and engineering.
Weather: Temperature and precipitation, graphing weather, day length, sun angle, the atmosphere, and wind.
Survival: Habitats, competition, adaptations, feeding, protection, and cooperation.

Beast Academy Science 3B covers the following topics:

Forces: Speed, acceleration, inertia, balanced and unbalanced forces, friction, and magnetism.
The Atmosphere: Air, how our atmosphere formed and how life changed it, climate, and eras of Earth’s history.
Traits: Classifying and identifying species, life cycles, cells, genes, variation and mutation.
